MCJROTC BOOSTER CLUB EXECUTIVE MEETING 8/24/25

ACTION ITEMS: President

Zombie Run

• Sponsors

  • Reach out to sponsors by using Ryan E.'s sponsorship form.

  • Review the Excel list for sponsors-this is a key focus.  

• Shirt Design - Stephanie L. 

  • Send the design request to students and, if necessary, the Art teacher.

  • Inquire about shirt cost and glow-in-the-dark ink from Fine Designs 4 U.

  • Shirt options: lime green or purple with black ink

  • Set the registration deadline to ensure shirt orders.

• Website 

  • Prepare website forms for the event. - Dustin B. 

  • Work on the Zombie Run event page. - Tonyna B.

• Registration Information

  • Table options: one for Pre-registration and one for registration. In need of assistance. 

  • Heats, time, price (Stress importance of times & prices) 

    • Elementary: 5-11 $15, 9 am

    • Teens/students: 12-18 $20, 10:30 am

    • Adults: 18+ $25, 11:30 am 

  • Rain or shine! 

• Runner bags

  • Contact businesses for donations. 

  • Ask K&S for a runner bag donation for the logo on the shirt.

• Vendors

  • Reach out to food and beverage trucks/vendors. 

  • Fees: $50 truck/$25 vendor 

• Medals

  • Reach out to the Ag shop for assistance. 

  • Check costs from last year. 

• Posters/Flyers

  • Finalize the event date to promote.

  • Create roadside signs for promotion.

  • Print out flyers for members to take at Sept meeting. 

  • Reach out to free online ads and HISD to promote. - Tonyna B. 

Military Ball

• Place setting for each table.

  • Idea: 3D 250th anniversary key chain design. 

• Glass Gift (Seniors Only)

  • Idea: Etch 250 years and the AHS MCJROTC emblem with the senior year.

  • Idea: Fill with candy

• Guest Speaker gift options. 

• Still need to reach out to a caterer. 

• Still need to reach out to a photographer.

  • Should be at least two. $250/piece.
